Insights from Ladies' Bible Study

Statistics tell us that 80% of pastors feel discouraged and 94% of pastors’ families feel the pressure of ministry. Are you an encourager or a critic? Do you pray faithfully for the Stephens and their leadership teams in the church? According to Psalm 68:9, God desires to give new vigor and freshness to His children—which includes everyone who has a meaningful, personal relationship with Christ.

7,000 churches close each year. What are you doing to help make Trinity Church a vibrant, growing church? God needs people who will go beyond discussing troublesome situations and will DO something to effect positive change. God uses each person in unique ways to accomplish His purposes.  Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Are you using your gifts? (Have you taken advantage of Network class to learn more about the gifts God has given you? For more info on the next network class contact the church office.)

In the Old Testament—what? God wants to teach us something out of the Old Testament?— Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the city’s wall. He prayed about how to accomplish this task, planned thoroughly, created a team spirit, trained his team, and then built the wall in only 52 days! Prayer is God’s mighty force in solving problems today. (Be sure to come to movie night on March 4 to see the movie War Room!) Prayer and action go hand in hand. Through prayer God guides our teamwork and efforts to carry out His will.
