In the Old Testament—what? God wants to teach us something out of the Old Testament?— Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the city’s wall. He prayed about how to accomplish this task, planned thoroughly, created a team spirit, trained his team, and then built the wall in only 52 days! Prayer is God’s mighty force in solving problems today. (Be sure to come to movie night on March 4 to see the movie War Room!) Prayer and action go hand in hand. Through prayer God guides our teamwork and efforts to carry out His will.
