Can you help?
We are currently in the process of building our worship teams for 2018. There are many ways that you can help with our hospitality on Sunday mornings. If you would like to get involved please sign up at the ministry center or contact the church office. We will also have sign ups on in worship as well. If you have been involved in the past we would love you to continue or if you would like to take some time off or try something different that is alright as well. Just let us know how you would like to serve on Sunday mornings. All of these positions operate on a rotating basis and we will train you for whatever job you would like to take.
Here are some of the opportunities that we have available for our two services:
1st Service
Greeter – This position welcomes all to worship.
Usher – This position helps collect the offering and assists everyone coming to worship.
Sound Board – This position takes care of the sound and the slides for worship.
Liturgist – This position takes care of leading the congregation in announcements, call to worship and offertory.
Scripture Reader – This position as the title implies reads scripture at the first service. (we give you the scripture ahead of time so you can practice and ask questions if needed.)
2nd Service

Sound Person – This position takes care of sound for worship.
A/V Person – This position plays the slides and videos for worship (Don’t let the fancy title fool you this is simple operation it just requires focus because all of the setup and installation is done before you arrive.)
Welcome and Announcements-This is a new position. We are looking for some people who would do the welcome at the beginning of the service and to read the announcements so that we can include more voices in worship.

Last month, I asked you to reflect on three questions during Lent: What will you do…learn…or become in the liminal space between now and July?   What will you let go of so that your hands are free to embrace something new?
